Relationship support

Whether you’re facing conflict or want deeper connection, I use proven methods to help you build trust, repair what’s frayed, and nurture relationships that feel safe and meaningful.

Conditions I work with

Depression

Depression can tell you lies — that nothing will change, that you’re too tired to try, that you’re alone. But you’re not. In therapy, we’ll uncover the parts of you that feel hopeless or ashamed, and help them unburden the pain they’ve been carrying. You don’t have to do it alone. If you’re out of hope, borrow mine.

Anxiety

When anxiety takes over, it can feel like your mind is racing, your chest is tight, and you can’t exhale fully. IFS helps us identify the parts of you that are trying to protect you — by worrying, planning, or avoiding. We’ll help those parts soften so you can return to a sense of calm and clarity.

Trauma

Whether your trauma comes from childhood or adult life, one-time events or chronic stress, IFS offers a gentle way to reconnect with your inner strength. We’ll work with the protective parts of you that have been trying to manage pain, and create safety so you can begin to heal what’s underneath.

Low Self Esteem

You may carry an inner critic that’s loud and constant — telling you you’re not enough. That voice likely developed to protect you from something in your past. Together, we’ll meet that critic with compassion, understand its fears, and help it transform. You’ll begin to see yourself through a kinder lens — your own.

Life Transitions

Divorce, career shifts, postpartum changes, grief — all transitions stir up emotions and activate old wounds. Using IFS, we’ll get curious about the parts of you that feel scared, overwhelmed, or lost. As you reconnect to your core Self, you’ll gain clarity about what matters most and feel more equipped to move forward.

Compulsive Behaviors (Addiction, Disordered Eating)

These behaviors often emerge as protectors — trying to soothe or distract from deeper pain. We’ll explore the role these patterns play in your system and address the emotional roots driving them. I hold a non-judgmental space where all parts of you are welcome.

Parenting Stress

Whether you’re navigating behavioral challenges, emotional dysregulation, or your own triggers, therapy can help you feel more grounded as a parent. You’ll build emotional insight, understand your child’s needs more clearly, and gain confidence in your role as a sturdy, connected caregiver.
Frequently asked questions

What is IFS therapy?

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a gentle, evidence-based approach that helps you connect with different parts of yourself—like the anxious part, the inner critic, or the part that wants to protect you. Together, we’ll meet these parts with compassion, so you can find more calm, clarity, and self-acceptance.

Do you offer online sessions?

Yes, I offer both in-person and secure telehealth sessions for clients in Illinois. Virtual therapy is just as effective as meeting in person, and lets you access support from the comfort of your own space.

Is my information confidential?

Absolutely. Your privacy matters deeply. Everything you share in therapy is confidential, with a few legal exceptions for safety. I’ll explain these clearly in our first session so you know exactly what to expect.

How do I get started?

You can call or text me directly, or fill out the contact form on my site. I’m happy to answer any questions and help you decide if this is the right fit. There’s no pressure—just a warm welcome and honest conversation.
